Location: Sulphur, LA 70665
Status: Full-Time
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage staff, including: hiring authorized positions, terminations, disciplinary actions; scheduling, training, mentoring, and directing their day-to-day activities
  • Oversee the scheduling, logistics, and training of people and equipment for Routine work, Turnarounds, Shutdowns, Project Work, and Annual Fit Testing
  • Ensure all Company and Customer Policies and Procedures are followed at all times by all employees
  • Ensure employees are properly trained on assigned job tasks
  • Ensure correct processing and filing of all Company and Customer paperwork, training documents, and testing documents
  • Organize and manage In Plant Store operations
  • Knowledge of Equipment for Fresh Air, Confined Space, Fit Testing, and Air Monitoring is preferred
  • Rental and Safety Equipment experience is preferred
  • Inventory Control of Rental Equipment and Sales Product is preferred
  • Problem resolution experience, must possess the ability to resolve employee, customer, and equipment problems
  • Customer Service experience preferred along with the ability to communicate with customers in a timely manner while meeting customer expectations
  • Must have very good Computer experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a must, Navision or Rental and Sales Software knowledge is preferred. 
  • Good Communication skills is a must, candidate will need to clearly communicate with Management, Customers, and Employees on needs and expectations, along with communication on problem resolution and prevention, employee matters, training expectations, etc.
 
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
  • Experience with electronic test equipment
  • Experience maintain, install, repair and calibrate a variety of instruments, controls, gauges
  • Knowledge of electronics and electrical principles
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND DEMANDS
  • Valid driver's license
  • Shop environment
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
